The AELP Spring Conference takes place just before National Apprenticeship Week 2018 and almost a year after the introduction of the Apprenticeship Levy. It’s an ideal time to take stock of how the reforms are progressing and identify new opportunities emerging from the policymaking pipeline. At the same time, implementation of the T Level reforms is starting to gather momentum.
There will be workshops on funding, end point assessment, English and maths, higher and degree apprenticeships, subcontracting and others that are related.
We will be repeating the successful format of last year when apart from a brief introduction and general policy update to welcome delegates, the event will offer a series of workshops across one day to enable providers to drill down into subjects that offer growth opportunities.
Up to 24 different workshops mean that there will be something for everyone. As well as the apprenticeship reforms, they look at Ofsted inspections, Traineeships, Teach Too, SEND, devolution, T Levels and a range of other topical subjects.
