Developing digital skills of teachers, trainers and assessors

Thu 26th Jan, 2017

Birmingham Metropolitan College, Jennens Road, Birmingham, B4 7PS

12:00am - 2:00pm

Following the success of our launch event at the House of Lords in December 2016, The Career College Trust is running a number of regional events to raise awareness of the Digital Skills for Teachers programme, a series of online short courses designed to develop digital capability and confidence of teachers, trainers and assessors.  The Digital Skills programme complement our existing products and CPD programmes for the FE and Skills Sector. In a bid to encourage providers to take up the digital bitesize courses, the Career College Trust is offering a FREE organisational digital skills self-assessment when an organisation buys 20 places before the end of February 2017.

Attendees will receive:

  • An overview of opportunities and challenges facing the sector
  • Information on ETF commissioned and funded Digital Skills Programmes
  • An overview of organisational digital literacy analysis
  • Summary of CPD opportunities available to Develop Digital pedagogy
  • A practitioner’s and manager’s view of benefits and impact of undertaking Digital CPD
