Supporting the achievement of deaf and hearing-impaired apprentices

This interactive training day is for apprenticeship training providers. It will help them meet the needs of deaf and hearing-impaired apprentices and fulfil their duties in the Equality Act 2010.

Delegates will receive a comprehensive resource pack and practical information on:

  • Meeting duties under the Equality Act
  • Technology and communication support used by deaf people
  • Funding
  • Assessing the needs of deaf people
  • Maths and English support
  • The latest policy developments

Cost: The cost of the day is £25/delegate, reduced to £10/delegate for NatSIP-affiliated organisations. Lunch and refreshments are included.
