ETF supporting National Apprenticeship Week 2018

Apprenticeships, national apprenticeship week

The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) is pleased to support National Apprenticeship Week 2018.

The awareness week, which runs from 5-9 March, reflects the ETF’s own support for apprenticeships and technical education.

During the week employers and apprentices will come together to celebrate their successes whilst encouraging even more people to choose an apprenticeship as a pathway to a great career.

The theme this year is ‘Apprenticeships Work’ and it will showcase how apprenticeships work for individuals, employers, the community and the wider economy.

The ETF already has a range of support such as its free Future Apprenticeships Provider Toolkit, self-assessment tools for end-point assessors and a portfolio of online resources. In addition, to this programme, a range of new programmes and resources will also be developed throughout the year in this area.

The ETF will be hosting two Briefing and Networking events on teaching, learning and assessment of apprenticeship standards in London and Leeds on 9 and 10 April

ETF Director of Sector Development, Alison Morris, said: “We support leaders, managers, teachers and trainers to deliver high quality apprenticeships, to help ensure that apprentices develop the skills they need to progress their careers.”
