Isabelle King

Isabelle has over 30 years of experience working at both operational and strategic level in workforce development specialising in Safeguarding, Prevent and Working with Young People.  She has a background in training and education and holds a PGCE in Further Education and MEd gained through the Open University and Chichester FE College in partnership with Portsmouth University.

Isabelle has worked in an Independent Training Provider as an Assessor and Tutor/Trainer in Hospitality and Catering.  She was Head of Safeguarding for the National Council for Voluntary Youth Services (NCVYS) where she developed the national quality mark for Safeguarding in youth settings and most recently as Head of Safeguarding for a large international charity where she developed a safeguarding training pathway for 150k volunteers and staff.

Isabelle also chairs the National Safeguarding Youth Forum (NSYF) and is an active Member of the Community Advisory Board for the NSPCC. She is a Subject Matter Expert to a national uniformed cadet force.
