Peter Latchford OBE is the Chief Executive of Black Radley, a systems and strategy consultancy, after founding the business in 1999. Previously he had been on the senior team of an FTSE250 PLC and Chief Executive of a Chamber of Commerce/TEC/Business Link. Peter is a Fellow of the RSA, member of the Institute of Directors and has also been a visiting Professor of Enterprise at Birmingham City University since 2010. He has written widely on enterprise and excellence in cultural and public service management. In 2012, Peter was awarded an Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to businesses and the community.
Peter is an experienced Chair, non-executive and executive director of a variety of organisations in the public, private and third sectors. He has been Chair of several organisations and programmes including a national Non-Departmental Public Body and charity; an NHS acute hospital trust; and a start-up charity, focused on disadvantaged young people. In addition to his chair roles, he has been a non-executive director of a BME housing association and FE college, a school governor, and trustee of an endowed charity focused on severe and multiple disadvantages.
