Vikki is Executive Director – Education and Standards at the Education and Training Foundation (ETF). Her remit includes CPD standard setting, leading a team of subject matter experts in areas such as initial teacher education, technical education, education technology, English and maths.
Education is Vikki’s academic discipline and for the past 25 years she has worked across further and higher education sector. Having completed a PhD focused on how adults learn, she was a lecturer in vocation education and training, providing teacher training in England, China, Jordan, Ethiopia and Australia, the latter wholly by distant education. Vikki went on to be the Director of Pedagogy & Assessment at City & Guilds of London Institute where she was responsible for assessment research and strategy, quality, policy and regulation, and research and development.
