The Society for Education and Training (SET) is a community of practitioners and professionals across the post-14 education sector. Local Network Groups (LNGs) are an opportunity for our members to meet face-to-face so that together, they can share and develop their practice. LNGs support SET members to reflect on the Professional Standards, the framework for effective framework in teaching and education.
The Bradford LNG meets three times a year. All attendees will recieve an attendance certificate. The June meeting will focus on:
Julie Warden leads the Bradford LNG. She is a member of the Practitioner Advisory Group and has mentored members both with career development and with QTLS and ATS. She has worked in further education for over 30 years and three colleges in Yorkshire. Julie currently manages the tutorial provision at Bradford College. She describes her passion in helping learners have a high-quality experience, which enhances their lives, ability to study and enables progression into employment and with life.
