Tue 16th Mar, 2021 - Wed 17th Mar, 2021Online
9.30am – 12.30pm
This online event will focus on how we can address the current challenges faced by colleges in delivering Apprenticeships, Traineeships and utilising the Kickstarter Scheme. Taking place over two mornings we will explore how you can keep your employers engaged and your young people learning in the current complex economic landscape. Through a mix of expert speakers and interactive sessions you will leave with practical solutions to help you plan and develop your employer-led offer.
The ETF recently launched Apprenticeship Workforce Development (AWD), flagged in the FE White Paper as a part of the government’s future strategy to support staff working in and leading Apprenticeship delivery. This session explores the current AWD offer, the key focus points which ETF and DfE are keen to support, and potential next steps. Discussion will include exploring key areas for future staff development in Apprenticeships, as well as wider ETF offers that may also be helpful for Apprenticeship delivery, for example relevant recruitment programmes or wider leadership development opportunities. Breakout session delivered by Paul Kessell-Holland, National Head of Higher Level Educations and T-Level Design, the ETF.
