We know that feedback is a key influence on achievement. Research has shown that the influence of detailed, considered and articulate feedback on learner progress and outcomes is notable. We also know that engaging learners with feedback is not always easy and that the decision on how to deliver that feedback is a fraught and potentially contentious one: written, oral, digital or all three? Which one will work best and deliver feedback that is Timely, Targeted, Tangible and Tied to goals?
As part of the Thames Valley Professional Exchange Network, we invite you to join us and colleagues across the region to explore challenges around delivering feedback and share ideas on how we might overcome those challenges. The network is owned and run by its members, and we are setting up a series of group meetings throughout the year so you can explore new teaching approaches together. Please keep your eyes peeled for future events and we encourage you to get in contact with Joe Mcloughlin at Creative Education (firstname.lastname@example.org) if your organisation would like to host future meetings or events.
