EdTech Update 2021

Wed 28 Apr, 2021 - Thu 29 Apr, 2021

Online

9:00am - 4:40pm

After the success of the inaugural EdTech Summit, we are delighted to announce the launch of the EdTech Update 2021. This highly interactive event will build on the great work started by the EdTech Summit by bringing together senior education leaders with IT and Digital experts to assess the current UK EdTech market.

Attendees will have a chance to catch-up with colleagues in the EdTech community, update the sector on lessons learnt from the inaugural show and share best practice on the sourcing, procuring and implementation of EdTech solutions within educational institutions.

So if you are an Primary School, Secondary, College, University or Multi-Academy Trust, there is no better place in 2021 to source high-level and practical information about the growing EdTech community in the UK, than at EdTech Update 2021.

Don’t miss! 10:30 – 11:45am ‘The Community Takes the Stage – Championing Digital Inclusion and Accessibility’ chaired by Ian Myatt, Director of Insight, Channels & Educational Enterprise, University of Birmingham and Vikki Liogier, National Head of EdTech and Digital Skills, ETF.

After an introduction from our two hosts, educators and leaders will take the stage to share with the audience the successes and struggles of the past year, drawing future directions for the sector.

  • Lessons learned from the first lockdown emergency – how did education leaders respond to the struggle learners faced with access to digital devices?
  • The future of digital learning: A long-term approach to devices for educators and learners
  • Digital inclusion and digital strategies
  • Were Government and the private sector able to effectively support the learners and educators with their digital device offer?

Registration is free for the public sector. For more information, please visit the event website.
