We are always looking for ways to provide the best possible experience for learners. Our latest project has been to implement single sign-on (SSO) to our Professional Development Platform (PDP) and ETF Learning Platform, meaning you only need to sign in once to access your CPD.
As part of the SSO process, you will need to create a new ETF account. You will need to log in to this ETF account to access courses and resources on the ETF Learning Platform and the Professional Development Platform (PDP).
Our T Level Professional Development (TLPD) courses are now all available in the ETF Learning Platform and can be accessed only via the PDP once you have completed your TLPD profile information.

To simplify access – you only need to remember one login to access all your resources, content, courses etc. You will have one central account where you login and access multiple ETF platforms.
Visit the ETF Account sign up page. Click the ‘sign up’ link to go to the sign up form. Here you will need to input your email address and request a verification code which will be sent to your email address.
Copy the verification code into the field in the ETF Account sign up page and click ‘Verify code’. Once verified you will be able to continue entering your information to complete the sign up process.
After completing account sign up, you will be taken to your ETF Account dashboard, where you can use the links to access ETF platforms, sign up for specific email communications or make changes to your personal information.
No, we are not migrating any user account details from the ETF Learning Platform or the Professional Development Platform (PDP). However we are using email address to match people who sign up to the ETF Account with accounts in the ETF Learning Platform and the PDP.
Therefore, it is important that you sign up to the ETF Account with the same email address that you used to sign up to the ETF Learning Platform and the PDP.
In July 2024, we contacted all users of the ETF Learning Platform and the PDP to advise them to ensure their email addresses in both these platforms matched to ensure smooth access to all platforms once single sign on and the new ETF Account went live.
Your ETF Account dashboard is a centralised location where you can view and edit your personal information and email communication preferences.
From your ETF Account dashboard you can also get direct access to courses and events on the ETF Learning Platform and access to the Professional Development Platform (PDP) where you can complete a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for the T Level Professional Development (TLPD) offer and Leadership Development, and get access to tailored recommendations for resources TLPD and Leadership resources.
Once logged in to your ETF account, you are automatically logged into the ETF Learning Platform and the PDP, via the single sign on (SSO) process. This means that you only have to remember one login to access all three platforms.
If you are in your ETF Account dashboard, there is a ‘log out’ link in the bottom left area of the dashboard.
If you are in the ETF Learning Platform, click your name in the top right of the page, then click ‘log out’ from the drop down menu.
If you are in the PDP, click the down arrow next to your name (shown in the right side of the black bar), then click ‘log out’. Please note that logging out on any of the platforms will log you out of them all.
Our TLPD offer is for those who are delivering or preparing to deliver T Levels.
To access TLPD resources you need to create an ETF Account.
Once logged in to your ETF Account you will be in your ETF Account dashboard page.
Here you will see a link to the Professional Development Platform (PDP) (called ‘Go to PDP’).
Clicking this link will take you directly into the PDP where you will see a page with three options (T LEVELS, Leadership and Apprenticeship Workforce Development).

You will then be taken to your profile on the PDP where you will be asked to complete profile information about your role, teaching experience, and the T Levels that you/your provider will be delivering.
When you have completed your PDP profile information you can then complete your Individual Training Needs Analysis (ITNA). Once completed, the ITNA will generate personalised feedback which is tailored specifically to your current job role and level of experience/knowledge, with links to the relevant courses and resources to support your professional development.
The Leadership Individual Training Needs Analysis (ITNA) is on our Professional Development Platform (PDP). From August 2024 we have introduced a new ETF Account and Single Sign On (SSO).
