ETF recruiting for new Technical Education Expert Panel members

The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) is recruiting new members to its Technical Education Expert Panel who can bring their knowledge and experience to improve the support the national professional development body gives to teachers, trainers and leaders in the Further Education (FE) and Training sector.

A cornerstone of how the ETF operates is that is sector-led. The Expert Panels form a key avenue for the experienced practitioners to share their knowledge and expertise to help the ETF continue to ensure its workface development programmes are in line with what teachers, trainers and leaders need.

Ideal candidates will be experienced practitioners and managers currently working in the Further Education and Training sector who have expertise in key areas relevant to the ETF’s work.

The ETF welcomes applications from candidates who have direct management responsibilities of the following areas:

  • Higher level technical and vocational education and training (TVET)
  • Learning technologies and digital skills
  • Organisational collaboration and partnerships
  • Working with Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs)
  • Curriculum design and development
  • Localism and devolution.

Alison Morris, Director of Sector Development at the Education and Training Foundation, said:
