The Society for Education and Training (SET) is delighted to welcome Capital City College Group (CCCG) as its newest Corporate Partner.
The college group has committed to 150 SET memberships for its teaching staff, who will benefit from a valuable range of professional development opportunities including access to exclusive content, research, webinars, and events.
CCCG is London’s largest group of further education colleges, comprised of three principal colleges: City and Islington College, Westminster Kingsway College and the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London. CCCG is also a training provider for employers and apprentices.
Announcing the partnership, Kurt Hintz, the Executive Principal of Capital City College Group, said:
“We are delighted to join the Society for Education and Training as a Corporate Partner. Investing in our staff, and their professional development, is a top priority as we strive to provide a high quality learning experience for all of our learners.
“This is especially pertinent as we have launched a new initiative called ‘One Thing’, aimed at encouraging our teachers to take ownership of their career development by developing and improving an aspect of their teaching craft as part of our new Teaching, Learning and Assessment Development Policy. We hope that the SET resources will support our ‘One Thing’ initiative”.
SET is the only professional membership body dedicated to teachers and trainers working in Further Education (FE). As new SET members, the teachers at CCCG will be joining the largest professional network of teachers and trainers in the further education sector, with opportunities to share expertise and experience with their peers.
Martin Reid, Director of SET, said:
“We are delighted to welcome Capital City and College Group as a Corporate Partner of the Society for Education and Training.
Our partnership provides teaching staff with access to a host of expertise and resources as well as CPD opportunities, including enabling them to study for both Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) and Advanced Teacher Status (ATS). We look forward to supporting our new members in striving for excellence in their professional journey.”
Capital City College Group became a SET Corporate Partner in September 2021, as part of its commitment to the investment and development of their teaching staff.
