The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) and the Association of Colleges (AoC) are staging a series of joint conference events during February and March 2019. Aimed at teachers, trainers and assessors in the Further Education and Training Sector, the conferences will focus on aspects of practice including quality management, data science and curriculum planning. They take place at venues in Birmingham and London.
The series begins in Birmingham on 12 February, with an event focussed on successful teaching, learning and assessment in A Levels following the move to the new linear qualifications. Details of the the AoC/ETF A Levels Conference are available on the ETF website. You can book places here.
The next event, in London on 28 February, will concentrate on quality improvement and preparing for the introduction of the new Education Inspection Framework. Details of the AoC/ETF Quality Practitioner Conference can be accessed here.
The AoC/ETF Curriculum Planning Conference will take place in Birmingham on 26 March. Designed to help colleges plan for the new Education Inspection Framework, the event will focus on curriculum intent, implementation and impact.
The AoC/ETF Data Science CPD Conference, will be held in London on 28 March. Aimed at MIS and Data professionals in the FE Sector, the conference will discuss the latest Government data science and digital strategy and feature a practical workshop that will see delegates developing their visualisation skills.
In addition to the events taking place in February and March, the AoC/ETF Governance Professionals Development Conference will take place in London on Tuesday 21 May. This event will include legal and policy updates, good practice sharing and the opportunity to review your practice and build your professional network.
