Tickets are now available for the 2020 ETF-Association of Colleges (AoC) quality conference. The event – What does high quality online delivery look like? – takes place virtually on the afternoons of Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 October.
Acknowledging the very different circumstances of the 2020–21 academic year and the importance of blended learning, it will consider themes including effective English and maths delivery, supporting managers and teachers to lead online delivery, and engaging teachers and learners.
Speakers will include Matt O’Leary, Professor of Education at Birmingham City University. Professor O’Leary will discuss capturing what ‘quality’ teaching and learning looks like in a virtual environment and how best to support it. His session will draw on recent and ongoing work with a range of providers across the FE and Training sector considering how we know that virtual teaching and learning is of high quality, how evidence of its effectiveness can be captured, and what might need to be changed for this activity to be sustainable and effective.
