Places can now be booked for forthcoming Education and Training Foundation (ETF) Maths and English National Network events.
The English Network event will take place online on Monday 27 June from 9.30am to 12.30pm. It will include sessions led by Nicola Lace of Weston College focused on supporting neurodivergent learners in English, and by Alison Forster of Middlesbrough College looking at resources and approaches to support low levels learners with GCSE English. There will also be a breakout session looking at challenges and solutions for the year ahead. The event will be led by Jo Swindells, the ETF’s National Head of English and ESOL.

The Maths Network event is on Monday 4 July, also from 9.30am to 12.30pm, hosted online. It will also feature Nicola Lace of Weston College looking at supporting neurodivergent learners, and an opportunity to network and discuss challenges and priorities for the year ahead. In addition, Elizabeth Hopker of Newham College and Jenny Stacey of Chesterfield College will lead a Centres for Excellence in Maths project session focused on breaking the barrier of mathematical language. The event will be led by the ETF’s National Head of Maths, Julie Baxter.

The Networks will meet termly, giving managers and teachers the opportunity to learn about new resources, share experiences and ideas, and participate in CPD.
