ETF sponsors Get the Nation Learning award

The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) is proud to sponsor the Excellence in Teaching Award as part of the Learning and Work Institute’s #GetTheNationLearning campaign.

The Excellence in Teaching award celebrates tutors and curriculum leaders who have made a lasting impact within their communities and local economies, whether through their work in the classroom or behind the scenes designing curricula or driving organisational change.

Adult learning is a vital part of the Further Education and Skills sector. Those working in adult learning empower learners to achieve their goals and support people to lead fuller, richer lives. ETF has signed the Get the Nation Learning Charter, reaffirming our commitment to, and recognition of, the transformational power of adult learning.

The Get the Nation Learning awards shine a spotlight on those leading the drive to Get the Nation Learning and celebrate their impact in inspiring and empowering learners to achieve their goals. Nominations are now open until 25 July 2025, and the awards ceremony for winners will take place at The Barbican on Tuesday 4 November.

If you know a tutor or curriculum lead who has gone above and beyond to deliver excellence in teaching, now is the time to recognise their dedication. The award is open to tutors and curriculum leads who have broken down barriers to learning and have shown a commitment to professional development to better meet the needs of learners.

Find out more about the nominations process and submit your nominations now via the Get the Nation Learning website. We look forward to congratulating our award winner during Get the Nation Learning Week on 3 to 7 November 2025.
