FE Providers in the North invited to become a T Level sector delivery partner

Do you want to support college practitioners in your geographical area to develop the teaching skills and confidence to deliver T Levels?

The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) is inviting FE providers in the North to apply to become a sector delivery partner. The deadline for submitting an application is 5pm on Monday, 11 July 2022.

You would be responsible for delivering the Teaching T Levels course which comprises of two separate elements to teachers primarily in the North who are providing T Levels or preparing to do so, with potential to deliver more wider depending upon demand.

• Enhancing Pedagogy supports those new to teaching T Levels predominantly wishing to develop their profession pedagogical practice.  It explores T Levels in a little more detail, flipped learning and T shaped learning.
• Vocational and Professional Upskilling covers topics including dual professionalism, co-curriculum design and how you can enhance the quality of delivering T Level provision.

Teaching T Levels is part of the ETF’s T Level Professional Development (TLPD) offer.

Fully funded by the Department for Education (DfE), the TLPD offer supports leaders, governors, managers, teachers and trainers involved in T Level delivery.

All sector delivery partners are fully supported by the ETF and complete our Train the Trainer programme for which they’ll receive payment.  Further payments are awarded for delivery of the CPD events to providers.

Sector delivery partners will have the opportunity to:

• share and model effective practice to other providers needing support around planning for and delivering T Levels.
• develop staff’s skills and expertise in delivering effective CPD.
• collaborate with colleges and build stronger relationships to share insights and T Level success stories and help others to plan successful T Level provision.
• offer fully funded CPD to their staff delivered through the programme to support and enhance preparations for internal T Level delivery.
• explore teaching methods and approaches to help enhance practice, focused on the particular challenges of T Levels, with colleagues in the sector.
• access the latest T Level updates and thinking around delivery and assessment.
