New dates for each of the Education and Training Foundation’s (ETF’s) popular embedding maths and English in apprenticeships interactive webinars have been announced. The webinars, which take place in October and November 2020, have been added in response to demand and are fully funded.
We are also pleased to announce the launch of two new extended webinars and one training webinar. These sessions, which have been introduced in response to feedback, aim to provide previous and new participants with extra ideas for embedding and delve more deeply into a selection of topics. Participants will be asked to work on an exercise in smaller groups facilitated by a trainer in the training webinars.
Although open to everyone, these three free sessions will be of particular value to those who have already attended one of the other embedding maths and English in apprenticeships webinars, as they will expand on what these individuals have already learnt.
The webinars are part of a flexible CPD package to help staff embed maths and English in workplace training delivery. Relating maths and English to authentic workplace practices can help apprentices to see the relevance, improving motivation and learning outcomes. The aim of the CPD package is to support better retention and achievement of apprentices, improve apprenticeship success rates and help employers to build a skilled workforce.
Webinars are also offered in-house for groups of a minimum of 10 people and can be delivered as part of staff development training days. To enquire about this opportunity and to book on the programme visit the ETF booking website.
