Further online CPD units launched through Universal SEND Services

SEND CPD for schools and Further Education (FE) practitioners

As strategic partners in the Universal SEND Services programme, Education and Training Foundation is delighted to share that five further free-to-access online CPD units have been launched. They cover:

  • Promoting wellbeing in your setting
  • Understanding and promoting resilience
  • Understanding anxiety and creating a supportive learning environment
  • Supporting sensory differences in the learning environment
  • An introduction to teaching learners with physical needs

The newly released units enhance eight existing units, which address Safety and Belonging, and Language and Communication. Throughout the programme, a total of 20 units will be released to support those who work with children and young people in schools or FE settings to develop inclusive practices.

More about Universal SEND Services

Universal SEND Services is an ambitious programme, funded until 2025 by the Department for Education, to develop the education workforce so that more children and young people have their needs identified and met effectively.

It is delivered by nasen, through the Whole School SEND (WSS) consortium, in strategic partnership with Education and Training Foundation (ETF), and the Autism Education Trust (AET) along with key delivery partners in the education community, such as Real Group.
