Preston College becomes SET Corporate Partner

The Society for Education and Training (SET) is delighted to welcome Preston College as its newest Corporate Partner.

The training provider has committed to 50 SET memberships for its teaching staff, who will benefit from a valuable range of professional development opportunities including access to exclusive content, research, webinars, and events.

Announcing the partnership, Lyndsey Roe of Preston College, said:

“We are delighted to join the Society for Education and Training as a Corporate Partner. Investing in our staff and their professional development is one of the College’s key strategic objectives, as we create a culture in which all staff deliver outstanding performance and strive to provide a continual high-quality learning experience.”

SET is the only professional membership body dedicated to teachers and trainers working in Further Education (FE). As new SET members, the team at Preston College will be joining the largest professional network of teachers and trainers in the further education sector, with opportunities to share expertise and experience with their peers.

Martin Reid, Director of Professionalism and Customer Experience at the ETF, said:

“We are proud to welcome Preston College onboard as SET’s latest Corporate Partner. Our collaboration will see Preston College’s staff provided with access to a host of CPD opportunities, expertise and resources.

“Corporate Partnership signals a provider’s commitment both to high-quality development for its staff and teaching for its students. Our partnership will support staff at Preston College to further strive for excellence in their professional journey by enabling them to study for both Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status and Advanced Teacher Status.”

Preston College will become a SET Corporate Partner in April 2022, as part of its commitment to the investment and development of their teaching staff.
