Survey of staff with specific safeguarding responsibility

The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) is conducting an important survey of Designated Safeguarding Leads and staff with safeguarding responsibilities in the post-16 education and training sectors.

This is the first such survey of the safeguarding workforce in our sector and we think the resulting report will provide a useful picture of the professional skills and development needs of this key group of staff as part of a strategy to better support them. We are therefore hoping for a high response rate from College Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs), Deputy DSLs and all staff with specific responsibilities for safeguarding across FE and Training.

The short online survey, which can be accessed here, should be completed no later than Friday 12 March 2021. This survey has been commissioned by the Education and Training Foundation (ETF), is being delivered by AoC and is supported by key partners; NAMSS, NatSpec, Holex and SFCA.
