One part of the Education and Training Foundation’s (ETF) T Level Professional Development (TLPD) offer facilitates workshops between providers and employers, to enable knowledge exchange, professional discussion and genuine two-way street working.
These two-hour workshops are available at no charge to ESFA-funded providers and are recommended for all staff involved in T Level delivery; this includes course leaders, lecturers, trainers, teachers, assessors, curriculum planners and managers. Those employed by providers engaged in a Teacher Regional Improvement Project (TRIP) are eligible for remission funding to attend.
Each employer will host two complimentary workshops in one day, and we recommend that you attend both.
Information, Advice and Guidance workshops provide an update on key developments within the relevant sector and will be delivered by experts in the respective fields of study.
Participants will gain an understanding of the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to progress into skilled employment, employment and progression opportunities, and the challenges faced by the sector, in order to better inform students when offering careers information, advice and guidance.
Practice and Development workshops focus on elements of specific industry practice and participants will gain an insight into current working practices, ensuring that they have a clear line of sight to work and subsequently can apply this in classroom teaching.
Booking is now available for employer-led workshops held with:
Additional employer-led workshops will be arranged in the coming weeks. Sign up to the TLPD fortnightly bulletin to be notified of updates.
