The online modules for the Understanding T Levels strand of the ETF’s T Level Professional Development offer will be available next month (June 2019).
There will be nine online modules that will provide training specifically on how the introduction of T Levels will affect those in particular roles: teachers; teachers working with SEND learners; student-facing front-line staff; employer-facing staff; teachers in feeder schools; human resources; exams and assessments; finance and MIS; and governors, directors and trustees.
Face-to-face events that will build on the online modules will begin in September (2019), with dates expected to be announced early in the Summer. Check the Understanding T Levels strand page regularly and sign up to receive the ETF’s fortnightly TLPD bulletin for details.
The ETF was announced by the Department for Education in November 2018 as the body chosen to create the T Level Professional Development offer until March 2020. The offer will support teachers, trainers and leaders in the delivery of T Levels from 2020. Its aim is to ensure that further education and post-16 providers are T Level ready.
