Strategic Innovation for Skills: A programme for senior Curriculum and Quality Leaders is aimed at leaders responsible for curriculum and quality. Funded by the Department for Education the programme will equip leaders with a current knowledge of the broad issues facing the FE sector, and to help assist with the strategic planning of the curriculum.
Themes covered within the programme will include future jobs, future skills needs, curriculum and quality in FE, and pedagogy in FE. Participants will consider a research base in these areas and implications of this for their own practice, for the providers in which they work, and for their own professional development.
The programme will support Curriculum and Quality leaders to consider the following when developing strategies in their colleges: Jobs and skills, Curriculum, Pedagogy and Quality.

Leaders will benefit from a professional development programme commissioned by the ETF that supports participants to develop curriculum strategies and explore the latest thinking on pedagogy.
