Understanding T Levels for the Post-16 Sector has training options for:
frontline staff
leaders and governors
support staff.
Understanding T Levels for Schools is directed at all staff in schools at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.
Course delivery: a mixture of online and face-to-face courses*.
We recommend you complete the online course first to be better prepared for the face-to-face event. Although this is not mandatory, it will maximise the impact of your CPD activity.
Frontline Staff
This course targets useful information for teaching staff, and changes they will need to make as T Levels are rolled out.
It is suitable for:
practitioners working directly with learners in the delivery and assessment of T Levels, including staff in school sixth forms, Further Education and other settings, with limited knowledge of T Levels.
This course will help you to:
support the successful introduction of T Levels
develop schemes of learning, learning activities and formative assessment tools
access further resources and support.
Course delivery:
Online course (TLPD01): Understanding T Levels for Frontline Staff Recommended six hours of self-guided learning.
Face-to-face event (C1199): Understanding T Levels for the Post-16 Sector Delivered either face to face or live online.

Leaders and Governors
This course targets useful information for senior leadership and governance professionals, strategic considerations and changes they will need to make as T Levels are rolled out.
It is suitable for:
senior leaders, governance professionals and stakeholders who are working in or with providers intending to deliver T Levels
senior leaders, governance professionals and stakeholders in non-T Level providers who have learners likely to progress onto T Levels.
This course will help you to:
understand the features of T Level programmes
support the successful introduction of T Levels
access further resources and support.
Course delivery:
Online course (TLPD02): Understanding T Levels for Leaders and Governors Recommended six hours of self-guided learning.
Face-to-face event (C1201): Understanding T Levels for Leaders and Governors Delivered either face to face or live online.

Schools
This course is suitable for all staff in schools at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.
It will help you to:
understand the wider technical education policy for staff in schools
better support and advise pupils and parents as T Levels are rolled out improve teaching practice, ensuring that learners undertaking T Levels develop the knowledge, skills, behaviours, and competencies required.
