Taking Teaching Further Round 5: Guidance, registration and further information

Round 5 funding for Taking Teaching Further is available to all FE providers with two routes to access the programme depending on provider type.

Changes have been made to the delivery of the programme since last year and it is important that you read the guidance for your chosen route below.

Choose your route

The take-up of the Initial Teacher Education (ITE) places on Route 1 and Route 2 is subject to individuals meeting the participation criteria outlined in the programme guidance documents.

ROUTE 1

For FE Colleges and Sixth Form Colleges in England (colleges).

Places will be made available to all colleges on a draw-down basis.

Route 1: Guidance

ROUTE 2

For all independent training providers, employer led providers, third sector training providers, local authority providers, adult and community learning providers, 16-19 academy converters and university technical colleges.

These places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
