Professor Ed Sallis

Ed Sallis chaired the DfE/IfATE’s Technical Education Panel for Education and Childcare that developed the content for the new T Level qualification. An economist, he has had a career teaching, researching and managing in further and higher education in London, Berkshire, Somerset, Surrey and Bristol and until his retirement was Principal and Chief Executive of Highlands College, Jersey. Professor Sallis now works as a consultant and is a board member of a number of not-for-profit organisations, including Jersey Heritage and the Education Support Partnership. He is a Governor of Mid-Kent College and an ETF Associate who chaired the ETF’s review of Functional Skills qualifications in maths and English. He is the Chair of the ETF’s Expert Panel for Education and Childcare.
