Kevin Orr is Professor of Work and Learning and an Associate Dean at the University of Huddersfield. Previous roles include teaching in FE colleges, mainly on ESOL and teacher education provision. He has recently completed a three-year national research project on initial teacher education for science, engineering and technology teachers working in colleges. In 2014, Professor Kevin Orr was awarded a National Teaching Fellowship by the Higher Education Academy for his work around technical and vocational education.
