There will be opportunities to explore the potential of technology to connect teachers with students and enable remote collaborative working that can enhance mathematical understanding. The CfEM key principles for teaching approaches that use context to provide new ways of seeing mathematics will be introduced and considered. There will be opportunities to discuss and learn from colleagues across the sector and to consider ideas from leading national and international experts in using context for teaching maths. The ideas discussed will have relevance to all teaching but particularly for level 2 courses such as GCSE resits and functional skills. |

The authors of the toolkit will present a selection of tools from the toolkit in this session, with guidance about how and when these might be integrated into classroom teaching. |
