These will be gradually be updated and replaced as the new, additional professional development support comes on stream throughout 2020 for those delivering the T Levels available from 2021.

Introduction to Technical Teaching
This online learning package covers the basics of how to teach technical subjects. It is aimed at those who do not already hold a recognised Initial Teacher Education (ITE) qualification but may also be suitable for those who hold an ITE qualification and feel they wish to brush up on particular areas.
There is also a guide for further education (FE) teachers which provides an overview and introduction to the FE sector.
Understanding T Levels
Role-specific online modules provide training specifically on what T Levels are, how they will change your role, guidance on how to advise students (including those with SEND) about their options, plus information for teachers in schools who will be helping young people understand what T Levels are and their potential benefits.

Developing embedded English, maths and digital (EMD) skills
A suite of online training enabling teachers to embed learners’ EMD skills into their technical teaching.
A suite of videos where subject specialist teachers talk about how to teach particular tricky bits of the curriculum and offer hints and ideas on how to put across content that otherwise can be challenging.
