Job Description

The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) helps ensure that the Further Education and Training sector develops world class leaders, teachers and trainers. We work across the whole FE sector and are funded by Government grant, commercial contracts, professional membership (The Society for Education and Trainng – SET) and accreditation fees and a variety of other business activities.

We are now looking to appoint 2 Executive Administrator’s who will:

  • Provide professional and efficient support to members of the performance management team and the wider Delivery and Design & Development directorates.
  • To support the smooth running of the T Level Professional Development offer, especially in relation to the ETF booking system, ETFs Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application and the organisation of events.
  • Provide support and cover to other Executive Administrators during busier periods or absences as agreed with your Line Manager (in consultation with the Office Manager).

The roles will report into the Programme Manager/Performance Manager and will be responsible in leading administrative support on projects generated by the performance management team as designated.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be educated to Level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of providing excellent customer service.
  • Substantial experience of working in an office environment.
  • Excellent administrative skills and good IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Mail merge, Databases, and the Internet.
  • Experience of communicating and organising with a variety of staff.

Ability to provide financial support, including raising POs and processing invoices for payment.

  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work effectively across teams and with a variety of people both inside and outside the organisation.
  • A high standard of interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to show sensitivity and tact in dealing with confidential matters.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise work appropriately.
