The Education and Training Foundation’s (ETF) aim is to ensure that the Further Education (FE) and Training sector develops world class leaders, teachers and trainers. critical to the success of learners, communities and society. The charity works across the whole sector and is funded by Government grants and contracts alongside course charges. We are also responsible for the sector’s professional membership (The Society for Education and Training – SET) and are responsible for awarding Qualified Teaching Learning and Skills (QTLS) status and Advanced Teacher Status (ATS).
Having been awarded a long-term contract from the Department for Education to deliver the professional development (TLPD) for T Levels, the Government’s new technical education qualifications, we are now looking to appoint a T Levels Communications Officer. The primary aim of the role is to plan and deliver the communications support for the TLPD offer alongside being part of the wider marketing and communications activity of the ETF and TLPD overall. The core audience consists of organisations, leaders, teachers and trainers and other staff in England’s education sector who will be delivering T Levels in 2021 and beyond.
The role will report into the Communications Officer and will be working as part of a T Levels Marketing and Communications team to ensure effective implementation of the overall T Levels marketing and communications strategy and plan.
